Jessica N. Giron, OD

Jessica N. Giron is a Optometric Physician who earned her doctorate degree from the Inter-American University of Puerto Rico. Dr. Giron is a native New Mexican who grew up in Farmington, and received her bachelor degree in chemistry from the University of New Mexico. She completed her externship at the Santa Fe Indian hospital in Ocular disease and at the Optic Gallery in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she completed her internship in primary eye care and contact lenses. Dr Giron is an active member of the New Mexico Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She enjoys working with patients to improve eyesight, she is up to date with new technology and believes in providing affordable, friendly and exceptional eye care.

Alexis Rumsey

Alexis has been with us since February of 2023. She is our jack of all trades and can succeed at anything she puts her mind to. She is the clinic’s problem-solver and is sure to handle everything and anything right away. When she is not working hard at the clinic, she loves to hike and play video games with her husband. Alexis decided to work with us because she wanted to learn more about a different field in healthcare. Before committing to our office, Alexis was working in cardiology and pharmacy! An interesting fact about her is that her first language was Chinese! In her future, she plans to attend OD school and eventually open her own optometry practice to provide for her community.

Deandra Nez

Deandra joined our team in November of 2023. She is phenomenal at dispensing glasses and always makes sure that they fit you perfectly. She is the one to go to for information on how to make the best pair of glasses that are the most suitable for you. When she is not at work, she loves to play with her daughter Leah and take her to the park. Deandra decided to work with us because she loved the positive work environment. Before deciding to be a part of our team, Deandra took continuing education for vision care technology, and worked for another office here in Albuquerque. An interesting fact about her, is that she is a twin! In her future, she hopes to be a sonograph technician.

Danielle Nez

Danielle is the newest addition to our team and has been here with us since the beginning of May 2024. She is always sure to greet you with a smile on her face and will make you feel at home and welcomed, here at the clinic. When she is not at work, she loves making sure everything is organized at home and being a great auntie to her niece Leah. Danielle decided to work with us because she loved the environment that the clinic had and wanted to be apart of it. Before deciding to work with us, Danielle also took continuing education for vision care technology and was working hard at another office here in Albuquerque. An interesting fact about her, is that she is also a twin! In her future, she hopes to go back to school to learn more about different sciences.
